We are looking for you to join our Legal Department at our headquarters in Eschborn as a Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) – Retail, E-Commerce & Franchise (Operational Focus) at the earliest possible date.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Act as a hands-on business partner, enabling Retail, E-Commerce, and Franchise teams by resolving commercial legal questions quickly, pragmatically, and with a strong results focus
- Support day-to-day business operations as a primary focus, providing clear, actionable legal guidance to keep projects and initiatives moving
- Manage a high volume of contracts on a daily basis, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating B2B & B2C agreements
- Translate legal risks into practical solutions that balance compliance with commercial objectives
- Support store-related matters such as lease agreements, openings/closures, and shop-in-shop concepts
- Advise on operational topics such as POS processes, consumer protection, and sales models
- Maintain and improve General Terms and Conditions (GTC), templates, and internal guidelines to enable efficient business execution
- Actively identify and implement opportunities to improve legal team productivity through automation, standardization, and the practical use of technology and AI tools in day-to-day work
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Retail, E-Commerce, Marketing, Operations) in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate with external law firms where required
What you bring:
- Fully qualified lawyer (Second State Examination or equivalent qualification)
- 4–7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an in-house legal department or a commercially focused law firm
- Proven experience supporting business teams in an operational, fast-paced environment
- Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, with the ability to manage a high workload efficiently
- Interest in, and ideally hands-on experience with, legal tech and AI tools to improve efficiency
- Solid knowledge of contract law (B2B/B2C)
- Experience in a retail, e-commerce, or franchise environment is a strong plus
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with a clear focus on enabling the business
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide clear legal guidance under time pressure
- Business-fluent German and English
- Willingness to be regularly present on site four days per week at our Eschborn location (near Frankfurt am Main)
- Willingness to relocate to the Frankfurt area
